Chito Togashi
His real name. He was named by his parents after the boy Chito from the French fairy tale "The Green Finger." He spent his childhood surrounded by nature at the foot of Mt. Fuji, drawing botanical illustrations, reading books and daydreaming.
He began his career as a professional dancer while attending Waseda University.
While he is involved in everything related to dance, including stage direction, choreography, instruction, and back-up dancing, he also wears a myriad of other hats, such as spatial design, design, selecting books for resort hotel libraries, creating murals, and creating 3D trick art through live painting, all with his natural sense of fun.
In February 2015, under the name François Baptiste, he opened "MAIN TENT", a second-hand bookstore specialising in picture books and children's books, in his home in Kichijoji.
The entertainment is broadcast from a small picture book store that has been relocated from the artist's room.
