Kazuhiro Nishijima: Dancer
Born in Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture. She started studying ballet at the Date Ballet Company and Ballet School at the age of three. After winning first place at an international competition in France, she has been active in Europe, based in Paris. She has performed on international stages such as the San Francisco Ballet International Festival and the Shanghai Ballet Japan-China Friendship Performance. After returning to Japan, she has starred in the Peter Wright version of "Coppelia, The Nutcracker, Giselle" and the ballet "Dragon Quest" with the Star Dancers Ballet Company, as well as in many works by world-renowned choreographers. She also starred in the New National Theater Ballet Company's "La Bayadère - Kingdom of the Shadows" and the Japan Ballet Association's "Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty". She has also been active in the entertainment industry since appearing in the TV drama "Ikebukuro West Gate Park". Her starring movie "Runin" won the grand prize at an American film festival. She has a diverse career, including Broadway musicals and stage plays based on works by Osamu Tezuka. In recent years, as the representative of JAPAN DANCE INNOVATION, he has been engaged in a variety of activities, including the Toyosu performance of the modern version of Swan Lake "SUPER SWAN" and the song and dance "SUPER FRIENDS" tour. As artistic director and choreographer, he starred in the "Dramatic Kojiki" series, which is a stage adaptation of Japanese mythology. In March of this year, he starred in the new production "Wagakku Soden x Shozoku Mugen" at Shibuya Orchard Hall in Tokyo. In 2018, he performed in Italy with pianist Takahiro Yoshikawa, and in the same year performed a homage to Visconti's film "Death in Venice."
